All AB GC columns are gone through testing with toughest samples among industrial standards to maintain highest quality for each AB GC columns made. AB columns are NOT ECONOMIC products that may be a synonym of low performance and low quality standard columns. The published specs shown in Table I to IV show Abel's confidence in maintaining stringent quality without any compromise. As a result of this quality control, AB columns have consistent high performance delivered to its end users.
In summary, AB GC columns are carefully made at industrial highest quality standard. AB GC columns replicate the performances of brand name ones in column selectivity and retention time, making the column switching seamless at end user hands. AB GC columns are totally inert and have very low column bleeds. They can fit all known applications and may produce improved result over that produced on a brand name column.
In return of using AB GC columns, the end users will experience and benefit: |
Smooth and seamless column switch |
| Replicating performance of AB GC columns makes AB GC column switching to current application as seamless as if it was another one of brand name column. This has been tested and confirmed with a challenging application, PONA or ASTM D 5134 for DHA, that identifies up to 500 peaks of gasoline greatly based on the retention times of industrial fleet column: HP-PONA column. Fig 5 shows the close and almost duplicating comparison of the gasoline analyses on both AB-PONA and HP-PONA columns, that are 0.20mm x 50m x 0.5um, over 120min analysis time under the same instrumentation conditions. The PONA software has easily identified around 500 peaks and correctly calculated the octane value and other physical properties of a gasoline sample. |

With use of AB GC columns, the existing instrument condition need not changed at all, and the analysis result would be same as or similar to the previously used brand name one. It has proven that AB GC columns fit most existing applications that previously employed a similar brand name column. |
